My vision for AECIX is simple: to help capable AEC professionals turn their potential into meaningful, sustainable careers.
Haripriya is an architect and the Founder & CEO of AECIX, an industry-led learning platform created to bridge the gap between technical education and professional practice in the AEC industry.
Her own experience in the profession showed her that talented AEC professionals are often expected to figure out critical aspects of their careers—working with clients, building efficient workflows, communicating value, and navigating the realities of practice—largely on their own.
AECIX was born from her decision to close that gap.
Today, Haripriya brings together practitioners, technology, industry standards, and real-world experience to help AEC professionals build not just technical capability, but the professional intelligence and confidence to operate at a higher level.

Digital Construction
Assistant Professor of Digital Construction, TU Delft
Dr Ranjith K. Soman is a digital-construction innovator seeking to redefine how the construction industry uses digital technologies. His vision is to move beyond treating computers as passive tools and develop them as intelligent, trustworthy partners in planning, delivering and managing the built environment. He is an Assistant Professor of Digital Construction at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. He also serves on the advisory boards of construction-technology SMEs, connecting academic research with emerging industry needs. Ranjith trained as a civil engineer and earned an MS by Research in Building Technology and Construction Management from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He subsequently completed a PhD in Civil Engineering, specialising in construction informatics, at Imperial College London. During his doctorate, he was selected as a PhD Enrichment Scholar at The Alan Turing Institute. His academic career has also included research positions at Imperial College London and the Future Cities Laboratory at ETH Zurich. His work on the AEC Production Control Room laid the foundations for his neuro-symbolic approach to construction management. He developed methods combining linked-data-based constraint checking with reinforcement learning, enabling AI to learn effective planning strategies while verifying its decisions against formal, machine-readable construction knowledge. This approach helps identify construction blockers and generate feasible, conflict-free look-ahead schedules, making AI-supported project management more transparent and dependable. Ranjith is extending this work through digital twins addressing wider infrastructure and societal challenges. ResilientHydroTwin uses participatory digital twins to strengthen urban resilience to flooding and water extremes. UrbanHealthTwin integrates climate, water and epidemiological data within a semantic digital twin to support the management of water-related health risks. Together, these projects advance his goal of creating a more intelligent, resilient and sustainable built environment.

He holds certifications in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, and Fusion 360, and specializes in empowering teams to adopt industry best practices in design, BIM workflows, and digital project delivery. With a strong foundation as a former Project Manager and Consultant, Varun brings a rare blend of real-world project expertise and advanced training capability. His sessions are known for being practical, application-driven, and aligned with current industry demands. Currently, he works as a full-time corporate trainer, collaborating with international clients to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and upskill teams in Autodesk technologies.
